MultiTouch on G1 with modified Android OS
Luke Hatchison has posted a while ago a demo on multitouch functionality of standard Android phone. And just recently he has posted a greatly enhanced post with more examples and directions on how to hack the G1 to allow multitouch functionality. Great and interesting read!
