GeoTag

GeoTag application is using Android mobile platform and was initially developed for Android Developers Challenge (ADC).
The application allows to place geo aware media and text tags. It also allows to rank geo locations
We are looking forward to developing the application further.
Usage Scenarios
Upon engaging in the application, user is presented with a list of TAG items, which are closest to his current GEO location.
Each entry in the list contains an icon, delegating to the user as of type of the TAG item, a title of the TAG item (short description) and the ranking also in a simple and visual form.
Upon selection of specific TAG item, user is transferred to detailed view screen of that specific TAG item, where he sees the item itself, the precise ranking and the user comments.
Moreover, in the detailed view screen, the user has a possibility to rank the item or/and add a comment.
At each stage of the application, the user has a possibility to add his content to the system. Choosing a "TagIt" option gets the user to media type selection screen where he chooses what content type he wants to add: text, audio or video. (***We plan to add support for pictures as well in the near future)
Selecting TAG type gets the user to the next screen depending on his choise, where he can actually compose/record the TAG information.

The content may be either public or private. In the future, this can be greatly extended to support more fine grained accessibility to generated content (right now only 2 options: Public or Private). We would like to integrate “People on my contact list” and/or “Friends” etc…
Every TAG item can be ranked and commented by community.
The comments can be viewed while watching, listening or reading the TAG.
