What I liked and at the same time disliked about this interview is that he is being realistic and at least claims that Palm is NOT trying to smash Apple’s iPhone, which many were raving about in the blogosphere. At the same time however, he continuously points out all the shortcomings of the iPhone.

Yet another interesting thing about this interview is that he mentions iPhone and RIM, but no word about Android, which probably makes much more sense to compare to than RIM. Since RIM is targeting completely different auditory.

This just again shows that many big players don’t take Android into an account. Which is quite a peculiar thing and will eventually work to Anrdoid’s advantage. Android is considered by many as yet another Linux flavor thing that will never get traction. But being backed up by a company such as Google, I think it will prove those skeptics wrong. I can only hope that the device quality improves significantly with more manufactures making headsets for Android.

After playing with G-1, I must say that I am pretty satisfied with the phone, but the build quality and design could have been much better. I know this are old news, however call me crazy if you want, but the prada phone looks much sexier than G-1.

I am least satisfied with the keyboard of the G-1. And while I didn’t have a chance to have a grab on it, the keyboard build and design look much better on the Prada device… Well, Prada is Prada
